we got a screen door in our house now. it's not quite like the screen door in Seinfeld that Kramer put up, but it's still a screen door in an appartment building.
i also washed the civic for the first time in a few months. we got one of those flat hoses, like the ones that you see on infomercials. i think these hoses suck. first of all, we don't have one of those spray nozzles, so i have to turn the hose on and off at the spiggot every time i want to use it. secondly, the stupid thing, if there's a bend in the hose, it restricts the ammount of flow significantly. and when the spiggot and your car are sepparated by a space of like, two feet, you can imagine how many bends there are in the stupid hose. plus, before you wind it back up, you have drain the hose. this means laying it out like the fire department does. that fucking sucks balls when you wash your car in an active driveway.

oh, and on sunday night at work, we scrubbed the floor in the break room. it was pretty funny because we had to use whatever we could find. this ammounted to a sponge, some extra steel wool that we had lying around, and one scrub brush. to dry the floor, we unraveled a roll of paper towels, got on our hands and knees and used that. then we had to scrub it again, block by block with a half-cocked solution of oxy clean. we had just enough time to lay down one coat of floor wax, again using paper towels. so yup. so it'll stay clean so long as no one walks on it.
