i was really pissed off today.
first, at school...
we had to write a three page short story and today was the day to get critical feedback from our classmates. the only problem was, i got stuck with the stupid classmates. one didn't have a story, and the other was the lady who i don't like because she never gives anything worth reading. people are way too sensitive, so no one is willing to write anything that i can use except for three people. it turns out the three people were in the group that was right next to me. i wrote the stupid lady a half-page of critical feedback, and what did i get in return? "i want write like him. he's funny." what the fuck am i going to take away from that? NOTHING!
and then, at work...
i called to ring up a lady who had a fucking pile of books. while i was waiting for her to come up to the register with the rest of her shit, i went to help someone else. when i got back, fucking adam was ringing her shit up. it was a $100+ sale and 16 items! fuck! that would've made me a killer sale for my selling score which is slumping sorely.
and then i also got pissed off at lynn that fat bitch. she started to complain that there wasn't any tape in the dispenser, so i was all fed up with her already "Lynn, do you ever do anything but complain?" to which she responded by complaining about her wrist and how it was difficult to load the tape dispenser. so i just threw my hands up and walked away. i went to the back office to look for more tape to shut her the fuck up with but when there wasn't any tape back there i punched a wall and went to the loading dock to take a break. it's a good thing i have kevin and char (and the rest of the store concerning lynn) on my side because after i took that cooling down break, kevin told me to go on another to make sure i was all clear.
word travled pretty fast though that i yelled at lynn, so now i'm like the store hero for the day.
but, the day ended well when me and julie were looking through a copy of Gay Men Kama Sutra. they had some hardcore porn drawings in there. i also got better news when richard called me and told me that the score for the game was 94-68. at first i was confused what was going on, so when i had a break, i called randi and then i confirmed what i thought was going on. whoo! the pistons are the world champs! man... it's nice.
