god... fantasy football is becoming an obsession. you don't know how baddly i'm obsessing about jamal lewis.

he had 57 fucking yards on sunday against the fucking cleavland browns! the team he ran for 500 something yards against last season including a single game 295 yard record! jesus-fucking christ! granted, he didn't have jonathan ogden at left tackle blocking for him, and the browns were playing eight in the box the whole game because the ravens don't have wide recievers or a quarterback, but still! the guy should be able to break 85-90 yards a game against the browns...

to make the decision even tougher, he only rushed for 75 yards against pittsburgh last season (twice). sure, he'll probably have ogden in this week, but he had ogden last season in both those games too. sure, they may have lost a pretty good line backer in jason gildon, but they've still got a very good front seven in their 34 defense. they held oakland (yeah yeah, oakland) to less than 70 yards rushing.

and like i said, the ravens don't have recievers or a quarterback. todd heap can't get the whole thing done himself.

but there's the theory that you ALWAYS start your studs. jamal lewis is a stud running back. he could be playing with a chip on his shoulder this week too, which would make him that much more dangerous.

but, onterio smith, god i hope he starts) is playing against philadelphia with it's porous run defense. and philly's passing game will be busy watching randy moss (only the best wideout in the game... behind marvin harrison because of work ethic) and making sure daunte culpepper doesn't scramble for the first down. this leaves onterio smith that much more open to run little flats and shit underneath.

man, my head is spinning...

and i didn't even get into my dillema about steve smith breaking his damn leg. god, did you see him on the ground on monday night? it looked really really really bad. i felt it is how bad it looked.
