i blame this all on the red sox breaking the curse. you see, because the red sox broke the curse, like we said, left is right, up is down, black is white. and apparently, the whole thing about if the redskins lose their final home game before the election, then the incumbent loses, well, it's the other way around. the redskins lost, but the incumbent won.
or maybe it's because the call that took back the clinton portis TD which would've tied it and the PAT would've given the 'skins a 1-point lead was one of those "wha?" calls. that could've been the reason why.
i think i really pay too much attention to sports. now that the NBA is just starting up... nah, fuck it. the hornets are in the toughest division in the whole league. first, they're in the western conference which is the stronger conference. then they're in a five-team division with five playoff teams from last season. plus they lost jamal mashburn who was the leading scorer two seasons ago or something like that. and baron davis wanted a trade before the season started... oh god... i'm so sad. i should just abandon this season.
i'm afraid to go to work tomorrow. they know it's my birthday, so i'm probably going to get the shit beat out of me. man... i'm so scared.
