oh god how i hate poker. i was doing so well on saturday night until oki's freakin' stepbrother and his friend came. god damn it, regan is good. he can't read me very well, but he's still good. not many people can get a good read on me because i play so inconsistently. which isn't good.
i also met melissa's, one of the regular poker players, girlfriend. or we think it was her girlfriend. no one was really sure. but anyway, she was wearing one of the borders bracelets that i'm supposed to wear but i don't because i don't accesorize (i don't even wear a watch). anyway, i blurted "y'know, i thought people just bought them and never wore them because they're so damn ugly." apparently she thought they were nice and purple is one of her favorite colors or something. either way, i still think they're gay looking bracelets.
speaking of gay, i bought another graphic novel today. rawhide kid, it's supposed to be the first or one of the first comics to have an openly gay lead character. the book was funny in a "ha ha" way, not a "funny-gay" way. yeah, i like comics.
