in an attempt to divert attention away from my life, i will discuss a topic that's been on my mind lately. and i bet it's not something anyone expected, but on the same note, no one will be suprised either...
the reason why donovan mcnabb is the target of so much criticism is because mcnabb is not a nigga.
think about it.
mcnabb grew up with two loving parents, one of which still feeds him soup and draws up touchdown passes to brian westbrook while telling him how to avoid the pass rush while it's happening. amazing amazing parents...
terrell owens on the other hand was raised by his grandmother who didn't even let him know his sister lived across the street.
mcnabb doesn't let the press or the fans get to him publicly. like when rush limbaugh said that stupid thing about mcnabb being overhyped because the league wanted a good black QB. or when the philly fans booed him after he was chosen with philly's first pick in the draft. or when he was playing with the broken bones in his hand and they started off like 1-5 or something in 2003. or when TO and Fredex went off about him getting tired during the final quarter of the super bowl.
i'll bet that if this shit happened to mike vick, he'd probably be in front of the camera saying something. hell, i'll bet that if this shit happened to favre or even peyton manning, they'd be in the press too. but mcnabb, he's reacting like a man who just doesn't believe all this shit is happening to him and instead of getting caught up in it, he takes the high road, unlike what a nigga would do.
now would be an appropriate time for me to specify that when i say "nigga," i don't mean "black man." when i say "nigga," what i do mean is a person who reacts irrationally to a situation in order to project a macho front... like what TO does. you see, TO is a nigga because every where he goes, he does something stupid to let everyone there know that he's the best... even though chad johnson has better celebrations and marvin harrison doesn't drop any balls/runs better routes (did you see that stop-and-go against jacksonville for his second TD? that was beautiful! i knew it was coming and i was faked out!).
so yeah, that's why that nigga mother fucker from the philly NAACP mondesire called out mcnabb in the philly sunday sun. i didn't read the whole article, so i might be missing something, but i did get the impression that mondesire's biggest problem with mcnabb was that mcnabb wasn't nigga enough for him. he wasn't taking care of his brothas out there when he didn't give away any of his signing bonus to help resign TO and westbrook (nevermind that westbrook was able to get his own deal out of the way and TO knew he was in what was essentially a two year deal anyway). mondesire wanted mcnabb to be more of a nigga so that he could associate with his city's qb better. god fucking forbid that mondesire would ever live in a city with a white qb... can you imagine if kurt warner was his city's qb? whoo!
