man... this is sad times for me at work. amber's last day was on friday morning and today was her last day at starbucks.
i loved amber. she was one of the best employees i've ever had.
gosh, it almost sounds like she died.
but yeah. she's leaving for vegas in the near future and this means she won't be here anymore. i told her that when i go up for the conference, i'd love it if i could meet up with her and michael (her bf). amber seemed to be agreeable to the idea, and i assume michael would be too since we're cool too.
but the worst part of her leaving is that i've got to deal with the minor attraction i feel for her. she makes me smile because she's so damn bubbly that it's just adorable. i don't know that i could put up with it long term relationship style, but short term she's fun to be around. plus she's got big boobs and i like boobs... a lot...
i won't do anything because it's wrong. not only from me being her former boss standpoint, but also because michael is cool and i wouldn't want to be a dick to him or amber because it'd probably fuck up her relationship.
but god dammit, the fact that she's leaving and i wouldn't have to deal with any fallout makes it appealing.

oh, and today, i was sitting outside starbucks with donna and chris when one of my customers and her daughter (or was it one of the customers and her mom?) walked past. anyway, at first they didn't recognize me, but when they did i walked up to greet them (because that's how i am) and then the mom started asking me if we were hiring for the summer. it's a little awkward because i'm not really hiring for the summer, but i probably need to begin hiring in preparation for the holidays so i don't need to train four people in a weeks time. anyway, the really awkward part is that part of me only recognized the two of them because the girl is cute but wicked young and she's still in high school and might only be in the 10th grade or something stupid like that. but otherwise, she'd probably be a good hire because shes a girl who plays 360 games and some of the loser guys that shop at my store will appreciate it, and i'm sure the mom's and dad's will appreciate a cute girl in there instead of having to talk to max or koji (nothing against them, but i think girls are easier to talk to).
oh well... i'll figure it out as i go.
oooh, and jacque is hiring some girl that just came back from her first year at brown university! yay! she's kinda cute too. summer fling? i hope so! and then, maybe by the end of the summer, i'll have the balls to talk to the barnes & noble girl. we'll see...
i need to stop using so many elipsees (...) because they're actually stupid and annoying to anyone who isn't the author. know what i mean? and i actually think i'm using them incorrectly.
i should've paid more attention in english class in high school where they teach you all the basic rules of the english language because i'm so concerned about being proper.
i'm pretty sure this has been amongst my worst spelled entries also. there's probably at least one misspelled words in every paragraph. which word was it in this paragraph?
