another funny story (to me) from history class.
we were discussing that amerigo vespucci or whatever guy who figured out that the Americas was an entirely new set of continents.
anyway, i asked my teacher "what tipped him off?" and she said she wasn't sure. so, looking at the current world map, my vision was dominated by the large pink blob that was labled china.
"was it because he looked around at the people and realized that there weren't any short slant-eyed guys walking around?"
