everyone is ragging on me for only going on four rides, but i'd say i got my money's worth. besides, i was really only there for one ride, which was pirates of the caribbean. but i think i liked it's a small world because it was so gay, and when i looked at the water i thought about that episode of the simpsons where lisa drinks the water at duff land. but the funniest part was in the haunted mansion because one of the ghosts things looked like howard dean. i knew there was something i didn't like about him, it's because he's actually dead.
i don't remember if i talked about the car places, so we'll just go over it again because i like to talk about them anyway.
motorex was cool because there were skylines just sitting in the parking lot. seriously, there was one R32, two R33s and a R34 all just sitting in the parking lot with their windows open. the skyline looks a lot smaller in person. in the pictures, they look like they're big cars, but in real life, they're no bigger than an altima or something. i think the supra might be bigger actually. but, either way, it was still cool. diane's friend joey was supposed to show us around, but he got sent to go pick up some stuff, so this other dude from hawaii showed us around. we kinda just stood around in the garage where they have all the customers cars just waiting for the 5-months of paper work to clear.
and at Autobacs, i spent at least $300. i almost didn't buy anything from there because all they have in the store is stuff for WRX's, Evo's and 240's. they had to order the AEM intake i bought from the warehouse just so i could buy it. luckily i got it for cheaper though. AEM just raised the price by $50, but since they already had it at the warehouse, the guy gave it to me for $209. it turns out the guy i ordered it from also had a civic hatch, and he showed me a couple of sites for the EG civic http://www.civichatch.com and http://www.civichatcback.com

but anyway, i bought a sunshade that says Super Autobacs on it, headlight bulbs that are too bright to be legal, and brett got me the air bypass valve for the intake so i don't blow up my engine if it rains... y'know, like kavin did.
on the last day, we went to a kahala-esque mall. i ended up buying a jacket at Hot Topic. it's got a nintendo controller on the front and it says Nintendo on the back. total geek style. plus i spent $100 at pac sun. and i think i bought four CDs in california too. oddly enoguh, i bought nothing for anyone else because i forgot.
and i ran out of money spending on myself. but whatever. you can all go fuck yourselves.
or not buy me any thing if you ever go on a trip. doesn't really matter.
i think maile's ignoring me because she doesn't even meow at me anymore. i'm sad. she's all hu hu at me for leaving i think.
oh well, what can you do?
over the break, i only did one paper, and it was the shorter easier one. i totally didn't do anything for my 5-page, single-space FamR paper. just tonight i started and so far i've got 1 1/3 pages done. man am i fucked. it's due on thursday. fuck. i think i'm going to get a horrible score for this one. oh well, i'm doing pretty well on the tests, so if i get a C or so, i should be fine.
oh yeah, and i don't think we're going on strike or something like that. they supposedly reached an agreement, but the strike vote still needs to happen. from what i hear, the faculty didn't really want to strike in the first place.
this really sucks... i have to cut the intake piping to fit the air bypass valve. it's kinda hard cutting a $200 intake, but i think it would suck more to replace a $600 or so engine. i wish i had $3000 to get a prelude engine/transmission and another $1200 to pay someone to install the damn thing. i'm only guessing on the installation. i know the $3000 because it pissed me off that that's how expensive it is.
i should get to sleep. or play madden. whatever...
