2001-04-25 - 1:05 a.m.
hmm... what happened today?
oh yeah, i was surrounded by weird people all day long almost. well, for 12+ hours at least.
i had some friends over to watch DVD's today cause there was nothing else to do during the day time that i'm always awake during.
the day started at around oh... 2 a.m. when sheri asked if we were doing anything today. of course we never plan that far ahead, so i decided, okay, lets invite some people, rent a couple of DVD's, and watch them on my big ass TV. so, i woke up at 745 to get my chores out of the way so i could have people over.
this involved washing two loads of laundry. but, as luck would have it, the elevators shut down just as the dryer finished. and before i could check on it again, i was calling people and inviting them over. these people were of course sheri, as this was her idea, dae won, kim, and kerin. so, then i was waiting for them to come, and then erin tagomori called. so we were talking story for about hour-and-a-half and then dae won and kerin arrived. so i let them in and erin left. so we were playing cards while we were waiting for kim to pick up sheri from her grandma's house.
once they came, we went to makiki video and got "arlington road" and "dogma." that took us a good 20 minutes to decide upon. i must once again state how much dogma kicks ass.
after that we went to peppa's and got lunch. well, everyone else got lunch. i gave $5 to sheri so she could eat. i figured i'd just eat at home. no such luck for me, there wasn't anything to eat goddammit. so i just watched the movie and looked at peoples food. i call it hobo dinning.
we watched arlington road first. that was a dope ass movie. and then we watched Dogma. but before we could finish it, sheri had to leave, so kim dropped her off back at her grandma's place and came back to watch the end of the movie.
once the movie ended, we all went downstairs to wait for jenna and dennis to arrive so we could do something. we ended up going to play pool. as we always do. because we dont do anything else very well at all.
that killed about 2 hours. we left at about 930. then we went driving around aimlessly. we went to the illika hotel so dae won could pick up some sr. prom stuff, and me, kim and kerin took the glass elevator all the way up even though we weren't supposed to. fuck the rules is what i say. that was pretty damn dope ass. the ride was awesome. the guy who came out of the elevator when it first got down said "just go up for the ride." i guess he could tell all we wanted to do was ride it. and when we got to the top, the people getting on it said "just on it for the ride, eh?" you know it buddy...
after that we went to jack in the box where the night ended for most of us. by the time we left jack, only me, kim, and dae won were left.
we didnt know what to do, so we were just choosing directions at random. we eventually settled on following a cop. but i think he caught on and started to slow down, and change lanes and shit like that. so he ended up behind us and we got all scared that he was gonna try and pull us over for something. dang we were scared.
but he didnt, so it was all good.
and then we went to safeway and walked around like we were stoners for about half an hour. we were smelling these scented candles for a while there too. we eventually settled on a drinking contest of those gigantic bottles of soda for only $.99 with the safeway club card.
we wanted to go to booth park and do it, but the bathrooms were closed and it was still raining so we settled on the park in liliha. that was good because the bathrooms were clean and there was light and it wasnt raining too baddly over there. around 1230 we left and that was my night.
